• 125.000 witnessed each of the Knebworth nights - apparently 5% of the population applied for tickets over the special hotlines that were in place. British Rail issued special "Oasis" train tickets for the day. John Squire joins in on lead guitar for "Champagne Supernova" and "I Am The Walrus".
• Welcome to Planet Earth & Live at Knebworth 1996: Radio 1 weren't allowed to broadcast the new songs so the FM Broadcast ends with "Don't Look Back In Anger" and then goes to an FM Recording of the previous night. The last five songs come from a seperate source - a taped audience recording.
